At DynastyFootballFan.com we take our rankings very seriously.  With dynasty rankings most websites arbitrarily rank players subject to their perceived value.  At DynastyFootballFan, we project the each player's annual value based on their past performance, expectations for the future, average career span for each position and several other factors.  We then add up those annual predictions to come up with our projected fantasy points (Projected FPTs).  Redraft projections take into account the next season, our dynasty projections take into account all potential future seasons.  This provides a realistic expectation for future fantasy point production potential for each player.

There are a few differences between other dynasty rankings and ours.  You'll notice there is a biased towards younger players.  This is due to the fact that they have more years left to produce then older players.  Most dynasty rankings you see out there have a natural bias towards who is producing today, I term this "redraft bias".  By factoring in age, experience and past production our dynasty rankings have no such bias.  The calculations show you the future value of each player at this point in his career, period.  You'll also notice there are no rookies on this list because it is too difficult to project rookie potential prior to them even stepping on the field.  The "Potential FPTs" column represents the potential fantasy points that a player may accumulate over the rest of their career.

Below are our Offensive rankings.  We are working on the Defensive rankings and will publish them as well as an all position list when our ranking analysis is complete.  Tell us what you think of these, your feedback will help us provide you better statistics in the future.  In the meantime, enjoy!
